A whirling tradition, carried from Cairo to Athens
Born into a family of Egyptian folk performers, our artist has spent more than fifteen years perfecting the Tanoura — the hypnotic Sufi-rooted spinning dance of Egypt. Today he shares that heritage with audiences across Greece and the world.
